Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Arabic-speaking Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will help patients improve their ability to perform daily living and work-related tasks. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to enhance the patients' quality of life and independence.
Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities to determine their functional needs.
Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, goals, and needs. Therapeutic Intervention: Apply therapeutic techniques and interventions to assist patients in improving their ability to perform everyday activities.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about managing conditions and improving daily functionality. Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care.
Documentation & Progress Tracking: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, regularly documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends and research in the field of occupational therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
Licensing: Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Abu Dhabi.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably within a clinical or healthcare setting.
Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, treatment techniques, and methodologies.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong capacity for building rapport with patients and families.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and work independently when required.
Commitment: A passion for continuous professional growth and a commitment to staying current with advancements in occupational therapy.
Preferred Qualifications: Multicultural Experience: Experience working in a diverse, multicultural healthcare environment.
Specialized Certifications: Certification in specific areas of occupational therapy (e.g., pediatrics, geriatrics, neurology).
Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the healthcare system and regulations in Abu Dhabi is highly preferred.
