Overseeing and managing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Developing and implementing NDT procedures, techniques, and best practices for various inspection methods.
Conducting advanced inspections using NDT techniques such as UT, RT, PT, MT, VT, and ET.
Reviewing and approving NDT reports, test results, and quality documentation.
Providing technical guidance and training to NDT Level 1 and Level 2 personnel.
Evaluating and certifying NDT personnel in accordance with ASNT, ISO 9712, or equivalent standards.
Coordinating with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Investigating non-conformities and implementing corrective and preventive actions to maintain quality assurance.
Ensuring the calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment and tools.
Staying updated with the latest advancements in NDT technologies and industry best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgical, or related field).
Certified NDT Level 3 as per ASNT, PCN, ISO 9712, or equivalent.
Skills Required:
Expertise in various NDT techniques including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT).
Strong knowledge of international NDT codes and standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, and ISO.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Effective communication and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, codes, and specifications.
Ability to manage multiple NDT projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
