Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a Motor Underwriter for a leading insurance company based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and underwriting motor insurance policies, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, and evaluating risks to determine appropriate coverage terms.
- Assess and underwrite motor insurance policies by analyzing risk and exposure.
- Review and verify insurance applications for compliance and completeness.
- Evaluate claims history and driving records to determine coverage terms.
- Collaborate with brokers, agents, and clients to provide accurate policy information.
- Develop and maintain pricing strategies in line with market trends and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company underwriting guidelines.
- Continuously monitor portfolio performance and recommend improvements.
- Provide technical underwriting support and guidance to the sales team.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in motor underwriting, preferably in the UAE market.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of UAE insurance regulations.
- Proficiency in underwriting software and tools.
