1. Follow all standard operating procedures to carry out rigging procedures at the Offshore Loading
terminals 2. Direct, supervise and guide a team of Riggers to ensure the timely, safe, and proper rigging for
Offshore loading terminals (SPM’s) to connect or disconnect loading hoses to oil tankers as
needed to fulfill the operating requirements 3. Plan the rigging operations for each job considering the need for the standard or any special
rigging equipment or gear and the organization of the required resources for each job to meet
the operational requirements. 4. Ensure that all Riggers handle rigging equipment and gear in the appropriate manner which
includes, but is not limited to the following activities, to meet the operational requirement: 5. Select rigging gear, such as cables, pulleys, and winches, according to load weight, size,
operational requirement, and work schedule to carry out rigging operations. 6. Clean and dress machine surfaces and components in preparation for rigging operations. 7. Assemble and install supporting structures, rigging, hoists, and pulling gear, using hand and power
tools to carry out rigging operations. 8. Control movement of heavy rigging equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces. 9. Test Rigging to ensure safety and reliability 10. Dismantle, maintain, and store rigging equipmentDirect, supervise and guide a team of Riggers to ensure the timely, safe, and proper rigging for Offshore
loading terminals (Single Point Moorings - SPM’s) to connect or disconnect loading hoses to oil tankers
as needed to fulfill the operating requirements.RequirementsMinimum Qualification
• High School certificate (12th standard) with a good understanding of all standard rigging
operational procedures and the safety procedures and precautions
• Company Standards for Rigging and related activities
• Must be physically fit
• Must be able to use wireless handheld radios
• Must have good seamanship
• Basic English Language literacy and ability to speak, listen, read, and implement the standard
operating procedures manual.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
• At least 2 years as an offshore Rigger.
Professional Certifications
• Rigging and Slinging.
