Milling Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining milling machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in production processes.

• Operate and monitor milling machines to produce precision components based on technical drawings and specifications.
  
• Set up, adjust, and align the machine settings for optimal performance.
  
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality and design standards.
  
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain machine efficiency.
  
• Interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
  
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for different materials.
  
• Maintain records of production runs and machine performance.
  
• Follow all safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
  
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and achieve operational targets.
  
• Report any equipment malfunctions or deviations from standards to the supervisor.
  

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining is preferred.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating milling machines.
  
• Knowledge of CNC and manual milling machines is an advantage.
  
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  

• Strong understanding of machining techniques and principles.
  
• Proficiency in using measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
  
• Attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality.
  
• Good physical stamina to stand and operate machinery for extended periods.
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
