Ensuring seamless
infrastructure operations, this role plays a crucial part in overseeing
mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems at logistics facilities. As
an MEP Site Engineer, you will manage project execution, maintenance, and
compliance, ensuring efficiency and reliability in warehouses, distribution
centers, and other logistics sites.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:
Supervise the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of
mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within logistics facilities.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure
timely project completion.
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards,
regulations, and company policies.
Conduct inspections and quality checks to maintain optimal system
performance.
Assist in the design, review, and modification of MEP plans for new and
existing facilities.
Identify potential system issues and recommend preventive and corrective
actions.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates for
stakeholders.
Optimize energy efficiency and sustainability in MEP operations.
Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality materials and
equipment.
Ensure proper integration of MEP systems with overall logistics
operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a
related field.
Proven experience in MEP engineering, site supervision, or facility
management, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or industrial projects.
Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and
fire protection systems.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and other design software.
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple
projects.
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
