Job Description
Design and develop electrical systems for HVAC applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct load calculations and energy modeling to optimize HVAC system performance and efficiency. Prepare detailed electrical drawings and specifications, collaborating closely with architects and mechanical engineers. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical components in HVAC systems, ensuring quality control. Perform site inspections and audits to identify and resolve electrical issues during project execution. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to integrate innovative solutions into designs. Provide technical support and guidance to project managers and site personnel throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, proposals, and cost estimates. Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and project updates effectively.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a focus on HVAC systems. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in MEP engineering, specifically in HVAC projects. Experience working with building energy modeling software and HVAC design tools to enhance project outcomes. Knowledge of international electrical codes and standards, with an ability to interpret and apply them effectively. Strong analytical skills to assess complex systems and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration with diverse teams. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard design software is essential for project execution. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
