Job Description:A new hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Officer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Medical Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care and support to our patients. This position requires a compassionate individual with excellent clinical skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Perform medical procedures and interventions as necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and allied health staff, to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous medical education and professional development activities to stay abreast of advances in medical practice and technology.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in clinical audits to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution, with a valid license to practice medicine in Dubai, UAE.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working as a Medical Officer or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment across a range of medical conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems and proficiency in using healthcare technology for documentation and communication.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning in the field of medicine.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Eligibility for professional indemnity insurance coverage.
