What will you be doing?

Reporting directly to the Director for Medical Education, Emerging Markets the Senior Manager Medical Education is responsible for providing leadership, clinical insight and strategic direction for the development and implementation of Sports Medicine and ENT Medical Education programs and activities in the region. The manager will be responsible for cross-functional collaboration within the organization to ensure that medical education resources and programs align with both global and regional commercial objectives and priorities with focus on driving Medical Education activities.

What will you need to be successful?

• Experience in planning and implementation of all Medical Education events/activities and guide path for the safe and effective adoption of Smith & Nephew products and technology.
• The ability to collaborate with the franchise marketing teams across the cluster to assess the learning needs of HCP's and then to develop learning pathways and execute suitable Medical Education programmes aimed at addressing these needs and aligned with strategy.
• Experience in measuring the performance of the medical programmes with respect to their relevance, impact, and effectiveness in product adoption.
• The ability to ensure that there is an alignment in the planning and execution of the Medical Education plans & events between marketing and Medical Education at cluster level.
• Delivery of regional medical education and implementation of strategy.
• Experience in the development of medical education strategy, planning and key projects.
• Experience in digital education and transformation.

Successful candidates would need the following:

• Degree in Medicine, Nursing or Allied Health, Master's in business or Healthcare Management.
• Working understanding of medical education and training
• 5-7 years' experience in the field of healthcare or medical device, with a strong bias on strategy development and medical education.
