Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.
Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.
Role Summary:
The
Mechanical Estimation Engineer is responsible for leading the estimation process, cost analysis, and technical evaluation for mechanical and piping construction projects within the
Oil & Gas EPC and EPCM sectors. This role involves the preparation of detailed
Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost breakdowns, and bid proposals for mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client requirements. The engineer must have expertise in
mechanical and piping design, procurement estimation, and an in-depth understanding of
material take-offs (MTOs), fabrication processes, and construction methodologies.

Mechanical Estimation Engineer will report to Tendering & Proposal Manager
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Cost Estimation: Prepare
detailed cost estimates for mechanical and piping works.
Tendering & BOQ Preparation: Develop
BOQs and cost breakdowns based on project specifications.
Technical Review: Analyze project requirements, review
drawings, specifications, and vendor quotations.
Coordination: Work closely with
design, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate cost estimation.
What you will need to have:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 5-8 years of industry experience, preferably in
EPC projects within the
Oil & Gas sector.
Software Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of
AutoCAD.
Proficient in
MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
