Develop equipment specifications, protocols, and other design deliverables supporting facility expansions, renovations, new equipment, and remediation projects to meet safety and efficiency requirements for our patients and professionals.


1.Prepare comprehensive design documentation and test procedures, including drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions with the design software and systems.


2.Supply feasibility studies, concept development, safety/risk analysis, equipment/utilities capacity analysis, design, and sizing in preparing technical proposals and mechanical reports.


3.Prepare the technical specification, scope of work, tender documents, and technical evaluation with BOQ comparison.


4.Prepare project value engineering without affecting the project's specification and scope of work or project execution planning.


5.Provide troubleshooting support for equipment and utility systems, providing corrective actions.


6.Ensure equipment availability, safety, reliability, and efficiency by scheduling appropriate maintenance, testing, evaluating, modifying, and re-testing mechanical components, and liaising with suppliers when required.


7.Conduct reviews of engineering options and technical evaluations to validate the nature of new products and design solutions, assuring the quality of systems and products by designing, executing, and testing methods.


8.Address and resolve design and manufacturing challenges, ensuring optimal performance and functionality of mechanical systems.


9.Select appropriate materials and manufacturing techniques to achieve design goals while maintaining cost-effectiveness and efficiency.


10.Implement and oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards in both design and manufacturing.


11.Provide engineering information and training to the technical team and advise the team in critical situations.


12.Supervise the development of computer-aided design (CAD) project drawings from junior team members


13.Maintain a complete history record and Report all maintenance (breakdown and preventive maintenance) carried out on each piece of equipment with no errors for future reference.


14.Analyze the section’s operations data and generate monthly reports and documentation.


15.Attend meetings and give presentations as requested by the management.


16.Follow-up mechanical engineering requisition through INFOR-EAM (CEMMS) and ensure completion of work orders.


17.Identify and ensure that the required spare parts details of all equipment/services under the unit are available and have been made stock items as required.


18.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and designers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components.


19.Obtain project-related approvals from the relevant local authorities.


20.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.


21.Any other assignments related to the nature of the job assigned by the management.


Bachelor Degree Mechanical Engineering


3-5 YearsRelevant experience, preferably within healthcare or hospitality.


1 year or less UAE Nationals
