MECHANICAL BIM MODELER

As a Mechanical BIM Modeler, you will play a critical role in the development of detailed mechanical models for our projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) will be essential in streamlining our processes and enhancing project delivery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D mechanical models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure accurate integration of mechanical systems with architectural and structural designs.
• Create and manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Conduct clash detection and resolution using BIM tools to minimize conflicts in the design phase.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations, providing technical expertise as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in BIM and mechanical design.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on design and coordination issues.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical BIM Modeler or similar role in an architecture or engineering environment.
• Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems design, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Familiarity with building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
