Job Description
This role will focus primarily on marketing activities within Informa’s flagship aerospace event – Dubai Airshow. You will be responsible for creating and executing exhibitor, visitor and delegate marketing plans that deliver tangible results working closely with sales, production and other teams to deliver on set objectives.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Work closely with the project team to create, implement & measure marketing programmes for the features at Dubai Airshow
- Working closely with the Digital Marketing team to analyse and optimise the digital campaigns (email, social, digital, etc.) to drive attendance and revenue in line with event objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team in the creation of targeted messaging, collateral and campaigns to enhance prospecting and drive exhibitor and sponsorship conversion
- Partner with supporting teams such as Digital, Data and Design to develop innovative and optimised campaigns while adhering to best-practices and policies.
- Negotiate and execute contra deals with relevant associations and publications – focusing on building long-term partnerships.
- Manage key supplier relationships including registration suppliers and agencies.
- Compile and analyse campaigns along with post event analysis and other reports as required.
Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in event marketing.
- Fluent in English and preferably in Arabic.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in successful execution of marketing strategies.
- Experience in developing and managing digital and print campaigns, marketing materials, websites and social media content.
- Working experience of database management & development including segmentation/advanced targeting.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing to include online advertising, SEO and social.
- Shares information, collaborates and is comfortable participating as a part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a pressurised environment.
Desirable
- B2B event marketing experience and/or knowledge.
- Educated to University degree standard or equivalent.
- Formal business/marketing higher education qualification.
