Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management and Execution
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and other channels to promote events, focused on exhibitor, paid delegate and free visitor attraction
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and prepare regular reports for the Marketing Manager.
- Evaluate the performance of media, association, industry partners, and social media influencers, providing feedback and recommendations to the Marketing Manager.
- Build, maintain, and optimise event websites, working with internal support teams to maximize conversions.
- Create, copywrite, proofread, and check all marketing materials in conjunction with the Marketing Manager, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Contribute to the database growth for events by researching competitor events and following industry leaders.
- Support content marketing calendars and ensure all social media channels are active, aligned with market expectations, and optimized for engagement and conversion.
- Liaise with event partners, sponsors, and speakers by sharing toolkits and gathering marketing materials and ensure alignment with promotional activities.
- Research and establish media partnerships to maximize exposure at minimal cost, ensure deliverables are actioned in a timely manner
- Make targeted data selections on the CRM, ensuring accurate segmentation for effective communication.
- Support any administrative and ad hoc tasks such as create campaign trackers and maintain tracking master files for events, filing documents
Onsite Event Support
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure seamless event
- Manage exhibitor marketing, acting as the primary contact for exhibitors and coordinating their marketing requests, PR information, and collateral.
- Managing marketing suppliers onsite to support the Marketing Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within the events industry.
- Experience with event promotion and delegate acquisition is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), CRM systems, and social media management tools.
- Basic knowledge of analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure campaign performance.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent spoken and written Arabic is a must
