Job Summary



Support ME in day-to-day activities like finalizing the tooling for all stators, repair, and maintenance of the cores for production. Assist Manufacturing engineers for pushout test. Technician is responsible for the 5S activity in the department. Support production department for polishing the cores. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operation of overhead crane for the movement of core and tooling.
  • Perform periodic maintenance of cores.
  • Assemble and dis assemble cores.
  • Report any abnormalities or variations observed in the manufacturing process to the concerned parties.
  • Ensure the tools, gauges and equipment’s used is maintained properly.
  • Document and maintain Checklist , paper routers, or any ERP system that are in place.
  • Follow the house keeping as per the 5S requirements.
  • Suggest or raise observation on any improvements, risk, safety concerns and good practices.
  • Ensure to comply with all NOV HSE procedures and policies and maintain relevant HSE logs.
  • Observe HSE regulations, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personal.
  • The ability to use hand and power tools.
  • The ability to interpret tooling drawings.
  • Knowledge of taking measurements using vernier calliper/micrometre.
  • Basic fitting works (Assembly and Dis assembly of core).
  • Other duties, as assigned by the supervisor.

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • The ability to use hand and power tools.
  • The ability to interpret tooling drawings.
  • Knowledge of taking measurements using vernier calliper/micrometre.
  • Basic fitting works (Assembly and Dis assembly of core).
  • Other duties, as assigned by the supervisor. 


EDUCATIUONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Diploma in tool and die making/Diploma in Mold making or equivalent Diploma in Mechanical field.
  • 0-3 Years of experience in similar role 
  • Knowledge of proper use of measuring tools, gauges and tools
  • Able to communicate in English (both writing and orally)
  • Good Experience or working knowledge in die fitting or Mold maintenance
  • Understanding of mechanical drawings and procedures with mechanical aptitude. 
  • Experience in CAD/AutoCAD. 
  • Experience in safe use of power tools used in Manufacturing industries
