Role : Manager - WPS, DDS & Utilities Location : Abu Dhabi Role Purpose: Manage overall settlement operations under Payments, responsible for the effective and successful management of Transaction processing, Transaction reconciliation and quality controls with appropriate KRI and KPI reporting for internal and Regulator’s. Planning and maintaining work systems, procedures and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of staff, Policy and Processes in the business unit. Continuous process improvement and automation of processes to achieve straight thru Processing of transaction. To manage a team of 8 to 10 members within Cash Management Operations
Key Accountabilities of the role Manage overall Settlement Operations (UAEDDS, WPS, Sos, Utility Bills and Payments) and responsible for the effective and successful management of staff members, productivity, quality control and timely execution of payments.
Enhance the operational policy, procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of settlements flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting etc.
Report promptly to superiors for any irregularity
Verify and approve the reconciliation of transactions / accounts, ensuring that corrective action is taken on outstanding items and escalate any long outstanding items.
Report any significant exceptions and/or deviations to department / division management for further instructions / guidance.
Ensure compliance to ADIB policies, procedures, guidelines, standards and maintaining high standard of operational controls
Assist in achieving and measuring department performance against identified goals for the year.
Regularly evaluate the operational processes and recommend line management, suitable changes to improve efficiency and controls.
Rulebook assessment and Gap Analysis based on changes as per the regulator.
Evaluate and improve the settlement operation efficiency and manage the operational risks and controls involved
Undertake training programs to improve knowledge in order to enhance role performance and provide training to junior staff under the cross functional training program.
Undertake any additional assignments / projects entrusted by the line management and complete them as per requirement.
