Job Purpose



The Senior APC/RTO Business Consultant is responsible for architecting APC/RTO/RIOS business solutions and support the implementation for APC/RTO solution for the production of Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals and other domain and integration of 3rd party systems, custom development when required. The individual is also responsible for owning business outcomes and implementation strategy while supporting Digital Enterprise Business Unit/ Solution Division in developing a differentiation in a high-growth competitive environment in YMA region. In addition, the candidate might be asked to extend focused Business Development role in Qatar as secondary task towards matrix portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities



Perform high level technical analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and gap analysis of APC/RTO user requirements. Knowledge of AI for control is advantages. Responsible for APC/RTO & AI solution portfolio management, design and demo functions. Responsible for the identification, implementation support and successful proliferation of focused applications in the assigned industry / application. Responsible for overall day-to-day management of assigned workstream activities/deliverables related to applicable systems and technology applications and support overall activities. Responsible to ensure client expectations are understood and being met. Responsible to ensure timing and quality of assigned deliverables completion. Responsible to ensure best practice approaches and methods are being used as appropriate. Engage with customer in assigned technical area(s) to develop solutions that help to resolve their process problems and grow their business leveraging APC/RTO and AI if possible. Support DX training efforts - Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs. Define and measure success metrics. Responsible for / contribution to the preparation of reports for clients Define solution architectures and develops detailed design specifications. Define functional requirements through client interviews, documentation analysis and Workflow Process Mapping. Knowledge of SIRI Assessment is an advantage. Provide expert knowledge and experience to estimate the technical effort required to implement complex solutions. Responsible for technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of solution development projects Actively participate on a technical project team, ensuring that effective relationships are built and maintained. Proactively engage with customers to define the overall technical approach for Process Digital Twin and Simulation. Assist existing customers in problem resolution and help define future opportunities with those customers. Provide Sure Service support to clients under contract. Proven ability to positively interact with all sales personnel and secure orders.

Qualification and Experience



Bachelor’s Eng./Comp Science or minimum 8 years industry experience in software development, engineering discipline and sales Minimum 4 years’ experience designing or implementing APC/RTO applications. Knowledge of AI for control will be advantages. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on Solution development. Must be willing and able to travel throughout the YMA region.

Skills & Competencies



Good communication skills, a team player, ability to energize. Knowledge of Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals or specialized chemical Domain will be a plus. Strong Knowledge on IIOT integration concepts Knowledge on Latest’s market trend Software skills in software analysis, design, methodology, and architecture Strong exposure to MES/DX technologies, including automated data collection, historian applications (OSI PI a plus), visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, SCADA, automated decision control, workflow, database applications and scheduling. Basic knowledge on R and Python and Machine Learning is added value. Basic knowledge on Big Data Analysis and Cloud Computing Anticipates the needs for change and supports and promotes companywide programs, strategies and initiatives. Develop and identifies Industry / application-wide Digital technologies suitable for business use. Creates an environment conductive to successful interaction and customer satisfaction. Early engagement with Customers and explore long term partnership agreements.
