About The Role
We’re on a look out for a versatile sourcing professional who can cope with the ever-expanding Food & Beverage procurement industry. Manager, Sourcing will be responsible for optimizing the efficiency of the sourcing department by devising strategic plans which focus on achieving customer satisfaction whilst reducing costs to the business. This role will focus on F&B procurement working with a wide portfolio of 30+ outlets across the resort ranging from fast food stands to Michelin star grade restaurants. You should have excellent understanding of the category dynamics in the local market and ideally established network of supplier contacts. Expectation from the role is to effectively implement strategic sourcing methodologies, lead negotiations and run multiple tender exercises resulting in long term contracts being put in place.
Work requires independent and professional judgment and is performed under the general direction of the Director, Procurement. Besides, the Sourcing Manager will oversee every aspect of the sourcing process and will determine the company's service measures, delivery criteria, risk assessment and solutions for issues that may arise.
About You
Ideally, we’d like you to have a relevant bachelor’s degree in Economics, Supply Chain, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 4+ years’ prior experience in successfully managing strategic sourcing function and capable of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. You will have to demonstrate multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition to this, you will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to interface effectively with all levels of management. In this role, you will have the natural ability to effectively influence through knowledge, relationship management, and trust. Exceptional creative and analytical problem-solving skill set with a strong desire to constantly grow and evolve. Experience working within a large-scale hotel, resort or restaurant group would be preferred.
This role would best suit an analytical, solution-driven individual, who can adhere to strict deadlines and who is naturally passionate about the luxury hospitality industry. Besides, you will have experience in negotiation, analysis, a good understanding of contractual terms and conditions. Prior experience working with suppliers and resources within the UAE market is preferred.
