The Role of Manager, ICT Design and Project Support:
We currently have an opportunity for a Manager, ICT Design and Project Support – EMEA Region, to join our Four Seasons Corporate team in Dubai!
Reporting to the Director, IT New Openings – EMEA, your primary responsibility will be to deliver comprehensive services to regional New Openings and Property Operations team members, focusing on the physical technology infrastructure of various systems such as structured cabling, security, audio-visual, and guestroom management system (GRMS) for all hotel and residential new opening projects.
You will participate throughout the design phase to ensure the IT, security, and AV designs comply with Four Seasons Design Standards, operational requirements, and Industry Standards. You will lead the review of IT drawings and specification submittals from third-party consultants, effectively resolving gaps and deficiencies, and tracking deviations for escalation and approval during any phase of the project lifecycle (Design, Construction, Pre-Opening, Opened)
You will be responsible for ensuring timely updates to the Four Seasons Technical Standards with a focus on regional technology to reflect the solutions, market inventory, and price benchmarks.
You will partner with the project lead to deliver the budgeting, tendering, and procurement phases to ensure accuracy and efficiency, and you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
You will play a pivotal role in establishing solid foundations within the division, bridging critical technical gaps, and delivering hands-on functional training and support across various Rooms Division aspects at operating properties and during openings; ensuring our teams are equipped to provide exceptional guest experiences whilst maximizing operational efficiencies.
Our Ideal Manager, ICT Design and Project Support will have:
A bachelor’s degree in Technology, Construction, Engineering or equivalent, and at least 5 years of experience with competencies in technology design and construction, or corporate technology experience in hospitality technology. You should have technical expertise and practical experience in reviewing IT drawings and specification submittals, and the RCDD certification is a must for this role.
We are seeking talent with strong organisation, multi-tasking, and project management skills, attention to detail with a focus on solutions, results, and continuous improvement, and process knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; necessary for successfully achieving deadlines and requirements of multiple workstreams across a range of properties.
A consummate team player with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and use good judgment. Strong decision-making and leadership skills, respectful of others, always demonstrating integrity and transparency, and great interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams.
This role is based in Dubai and will include travel to meet the needs of the regional development and renovation pipeline.
