Job Summary

Provide requisite support to Finance Lead in analysing and monitoring key business metrics and in partnering  assigned businesses through periodical interaction with BU teams and business reviews.  Support BU in annual business planning exercise.  Monitor working capital and risk management.  Support special Corporate/BU initiatives and CapEx/M&A projects.




Roles & Responsibilities
  • Steward the performance of companies & highlight gaps and suggest corrective actions.
  • Act as a business partner to Business finance teams and CEOs to identify risks and opportunities to support value creation proactively
  • Support the Group Director of Finance in managing the group as well as Business finance matters
  • Actively participate in the development of Annual Business Plans of assigned Business Units. Challenge the feeds going into preparation of annual plans and long term strategies, ensure the individual business plans are in line with the long term goals of the organization. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and conducting risk assessments.
  • Help develop and monitor forward-looking business metrics
  • Help ensure financial discipline and working capital management, monitor capital expenditure and help enforce strict credit control
  • Monitor effective management of financial risk such as currency fluctuations, interest rate risks, and market volatility, to protect the company's financial position.
  • Help devise risk management strategies.
  • Support with strategizing and implementation of group-wide special initiatives and project and M&A works. 
  • Critically examine existing systems, workflows, procedures, policies, and controls and suggest improvements

Work experience requirement
  • 5-7 years relevant experience preferably in medium/large sized FMCG businesses (multi-product/multi-location).


Qualification
  • Chartered Accountant.
