The Manager – Consumer Experience plays a key role in advancing Lilly META’s Disease State Education (DSE) marketing capabilities and building the Lilly DSE brand across multiple therapeutic areas. This position focuses on developing and executing innovative consumer marketing and content strategies to drive disease state education and awareness through both digital and traditional channels. The role ensures brand consistency and alignment with business objectives, while adapting to evolving consumer needs.
The Manager leads cross-functional teams, internally with brand and global teams, and externally with creative and media agencies to create and implement data-driven, consumer-focused marketing strategies. Continuous performance measurement and optimization are key components of the role.
With a strong foundation in consumer insights, the manager integrates these insights into brand strategies to deliver effective marketing campaigns. This position is ideal for someone motivated to shape the future of consumer experience and create impactful, innovative solutions.

Brand Strategy Support – Consumer Initiative Lead (40%)



Build and drive the Lilly DSE brand across multiple therapeutic areas by crafting tailored consumer marketing strategies and content plans based on in-depth insights into consumer behavior and friction points. Develop and execute strategies that elevate the Lilly DSE across multiple channels (digital, media, social, eCommerce, etc), ensuring alignment with overall business strategy. Lead brand teams in identifying consumer insights and social listening by working with Market Research and Creative Agency partners. Lead the development of consumer DSE messages and actively engage with the agency in the development of creative platforms. Own the creation and execution of consumer-facing messaging, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and consumer needs across channels. Work with brand teams and agency partners to ensure that all consumer marketing tactics are insight-based and that media plans are aligned with customer behaviors and media habits.

Brand Execution & Channel Optimization (40%):



Drive creative and strategic partnerships with brand teams and agencies to ensure consumer tactics align with brand objectives, optimizing for reach and engagement. Develop and manage all consumer-related tactic briefs, estimates, and timelines, and help teams evaluate tactics versus creative briefs. Ensure consistent, insights-based messaging across all consumer marketing channels. Partner with Brand Teams to track and manage budget for consumer initiatives. Make recommendations for budget tradeoff decisions

Performance Monitoring & Digital Optimization (20%):



Define, implement, and continuously assess key performance metrics for digital engagement initiatives, driving ongoing optimization. Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for improvement, acting swiftly to adjust strategies and optimize performance in real-time.

Required Experience:



Minimum 4 years of relevant marketing experience, with a focus on consumer strategy development and execution in a multinational FMCG environment. Proven experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional projects, working with diverse teams to deliver integrated marketing solutions. Experience working with/managing creative agencies and/or other vendor partners Tactic measurement and analytics experience Experience with digital media execution Experience in developing and leading projects in the absence of set procedures (creating a precedent) Critical/ strategic thinking skills and marketing planning expertise Ability to identify key insights and turn them into powerful messages/creative Channel/tactic understanding (breadth vs. depth), including measurement and optimization Strong leadership (without authority) Strong collaboration skill Strong communication skill
