The American University in the Emirates is looking for a Management Information Systems (MIS) Officer in the Financial Affairs Department who will be responsible for managing and supporting the university’s financial information systems, ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and security of financial data. The role involves generating weekly and monthly financial reports, focusing on key financial metrics such as income, expenses, cash flow, and budget variances to represent the university's financial standing. The MIS Officer provides analytical support and actionable insights that assist with decision-making, financial planning, and compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited university
- At least 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, and working with financial information systems
- Should have an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification
