We have an exciting opportunity for a
driven Maintenance Manager to join the team at our Premier Inn Hotel Dubai.
As a Maintenance
Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the
hotel systems to deliver a great customer experience by managing contractors
and teams, planning and coordinating preventative and ongoing emergency
maintenance for all hotel systems.Key Accountabilities:
- Managing maintenance
contractors, suppliers and government relations and ensuring all hotel systems
adhere to the regulations of UAE authorities.
- Carry out all necessary
maintenance and health and safety related inspections.
- Schedule and supervise all
repairs, both emergency and preventative to the building, services installations,
plant, fixtures, fittings and equipment.
- Ensure plant and equipment
operation with the least amount of down time.
- Schedule and document
preventative maintenance of fire protection systems.
- Focus on energy conservation
and minimizing the hotel’s utility consumption.
- Train and guide the team to
ensure they can deliver outstanding results.
- Ensure the team members have
all the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective
duties and maintain health and safety.
- Manage the department recruitment,
performance, and development.
- Coach and mentor the team,
reward and recognize, and focus on creating a great employee experience.
- Interacts with guests, clients,
contractors and suppliers to ensure that all requests are addressed and
responded timely with prompt courtesy.
- Commit to the prompt management
of any technical, repair and maintenance issues to ensure that every guest has
a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
RequirementsQualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical,
Electrical EngineeringKnowledge:- Knowledge of Opera and MS Suite
- Planning, coordination and
organization skills.
- People management skills.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience
in Maintenance in the Hospitality Industry.
- Experience in Fire Protection System,
Hygiene and Safety
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience of
Facilities Management/Maintenance experience within the Hotel Industry.
- Experience in all areas of Maintenance-
MEP
