Job Title: Maintenance Manager (Pools & Landscaping)

Job Description:

Xterior is looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Manager specializing in Pools & Landscaping to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of all pool and landscaping facilities within our properties in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pool maintenance and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pool Maintenance: Supervise and participate in the cleaning, chemical balancing, and maintenance of all pools, including indoor and outdoor facilities. Ensure all pools are in optimal condition for guest use.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all pool facilities meet or exceed safety standards set by regulatory authorities. Implement and enforce procedures to minimize risks to guests and staff, conducting regular inspections and maintaining safety equipment.
• Water Quality Management: Monitor and maintain proper water chemistry, including pH levels, chlorine concentration, and alkalinity. Conduct regular water testing and make necessary adjustments to ensure a safe and comfortable swimming environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the inspection, repair, and replacement of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and automated systems. Coordinate with maintenance staff or external contractors to address equipment issues promptly and efficiently.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance activities, including water test results, equipment inspections, and repair logs. Use this data to identify trends, anticipate maintenance needs, and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in pool maintenance and landscaping, with a strong understanding of pool cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment maintenance.
• Education: Attested Engineering Degree required.
• Skills: Excellent knowledge of safety standards and water quality management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in record keeping and data analysis.
• Driving License: Must possess a valid UAE driving license and have access to a car.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in pool and landscaping maintenance.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety issues.
• Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi is a plus.
