Solutions department is looking to extend our team with another innovative and outside of the box thinking co-worker. We have seen major changes over the past years and keep looking for innovation towards the perfect operations from A-Z. We are looking for a strong team player that help us set up new procedures, processes and assist our colleagues around UAE  to optimize and create the future in forwarding. As part of the Solutions Team, you will need to be ready to adapt and change, make sure to have your own ideas and opinions and be ready to challenge the business, vendors and overseas on logic and improvements. We are offering you the opportunity to become DSV’s Logistics Engineer to focus on ensuring the best practices are applied on following operational procedures and data quality standards in the operating system and other tools. As logistics Coordinator, responsible for reviewing procedures and implementing new ones when and where required with the department management. Assist with building of best practice in the departments. Assist in implementation of new IT applications to make the operation leaner. Assist with daily operations across the site being fist point of escalation internally and externally.


Detailed Responsibilities:


  • Determine the benefits of a business vision;
  • Assess progress towards a business goal;
  • Achieve measured improvements in the business operations.
  • Overseeing and leading any change management projects, including the researching, implementation and assessment from start to finish
  • Managing the communications and views internally
  • Creating and conducting the coaching and training sessions for various audiences, including customer management and leadership.
  • Understand the objectives and being able to project these within DSV
  • Understanding sales initiatives and prospects, being involved in internal sales meetings
  • Ensuring project goals are met and executed by working with numerous internal resources
  • Mentoring and supporting team members and assigning tasks where relevant
  • Long term relationship building with both clients and colleagues
  • Ability to acknowledge and address any client issues and resolve these with the intent of exceeding client expectation
  • Helping with and leading on any colleague engagement programmes to do with internal change management
  • Identifying suitable communication strategies and building on these, reviewing the plans and delivering reports to the executives
  • System analysis & innovative working procedures.
  • Measuring KPIs and setting local & global benchmark standards in Data quality.
  • Supporting Management with access to reports, analysis data, setting dynamic dashboards.
  • Staff Training.
  • Develop good relationships with customer to ensure high customer service level is always maintained and ensure that processes & procedures are followed and adhered to in that client’s expectations are met and exceeded. 
  • Compiling statistics and performance reports, KPIs, analyses non-conformities, and initiates and implements corrective actions/improvement plans.
  • Optimum use of resources available to target and maintain customer established KPIs at high level and ensure in line and consistent with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Pro-active preparation and implementation of continuous improvement plans and initiates innovative solutions to increase productivity and quality of service to customers.

Qualifications & Characteristics:


  • Forwarding and Logistics background preferred
  • Business Process Mapping / continuous Improvement to define requirements & determine relevant solution.
  • Good knowledge in MS Excel (Macro/VBA would be advantage)
  • Knowledge and ability to create dashboards in Power BI (would be advantage)
  • Knowledge of Power Apps
  • Good analytics skills
  • Self-Managed, Result Driven & outgoing personality
  • Proactive and innovative.
  • Structured and organized.
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Ability to grasp quickly & able to sell the knowledge he/she gathers.
  • Diplomatic, influencing & trustworthy
