Librarian

Abu Dhabi School of Management is hiring a Librarian and Assistant Librarian to support our academic community. The librarian's overall responsibilities include managing library resources, assisting faculties and students with research, developing library programs, and maintaining the library catalogue.

• Manage and organize library resources, including books, journals, and digital materials.
• Assist students, faculty, and staff with research and information retrieval.
• Develop and implement library programs and services to support academic curricula.
• Maintain the library catalogue and ensure accurate records of library holdings.
• Provide information literacy instruction and support to library users
• Collaborate with faculty to enhance library services and resources
• Stay current with developments in library and information science

• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in library science.
• Preferably, experience in managing libraries in academic institutions.
• Proficiency in library management systems.
• English Language proficiency
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using library management systems and digital resources.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse academic community.
• Commitment to providing high-quality service to library users.
