About Dubai Foundation for Women and Children:
The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children is the first authorized non-profit shelter and humanitarian care in the United Arab Emirates to care for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and victims of human trafficking. It was established in late 2007 in order to provide victims with immediate shelter, protection and support services, in accordance with international human rights conventions.
Developing recommendations and proposals to solve legal problems related to the groups served by the institution. Contributing to the preparation, study, and review of the organization’s systems, regulations, and instructions, whether they are implemented or in the form of proposed projects for application. Expressing an opinion on the most appropriate measures to be taken in the event of a dispute regarding any transaction with others, such as a warning, settlement, or resorting to the courts, and suggesting to the legal body that he deems appropriate to bring the matter to the courts or defend before them, while taking legal measures against others who attack the interests of the institution and following up on implementing them and submitting reports thereon to the Director General. Follow up on the lawsuits filed by the institution against others and maintain a file for each lawsuit showing its progress and results, while contacting lawyers on behalf of the institution to follow up on business with them.
