Key Responsibilities:
- Litigation & Dispute Resolution – Handle legal cases related to debt recovery, contract enforcement, and civil disputes.
- Court & Legal Proceedings – Prepare, review, and file legal documents, notices, pleadings, and contracts; represent the company in courts, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings when required.
- Legal Advisory & Compliance – Provide legal opinions and strategic guidance on contract disputes, regulatory risks, and debt collection matters.
- Debt Recovery & Enforcement – Oversee execution proceedings and ensure effective enforcement of court judgments.
- Negotiation & Settlements – Engage in negotiations with debtors to secure favorable settlements.
- Email & Correspondence Management – Respond promptly to legal inquiries, case updates, and stakeholder communications.
- Documentation & Case Management – Maintain accurate legal records of all cases, judgments, and settlements.
- Reports & Analysis – Prepare detailed legal reports and collection-related analytics for senior management.
- Cross-Department Collaboration – Work with finance, credit control, and collections teams to support legal actions and recovery efforts.
Desired Qualification
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in debt recovery, contract law, or commercial litigation within the UAE.
- Legal Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of UAE civil, commercial, and financial laws.
- Experience in debt collection, enforcement actions, and legal recovery processes.
- Familiarity with court procedures, arbitration, and regulatory frameworks in the UAE.
- Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Skills:
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet strict deadlines.
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in legal reporting and collection-related analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with debt recovery agencies, financial institutions, or corporate legal departments.
- Knowledge of international commercial laws applicable to UAE-based transactions.
