Charterhouse is working with a Multinational Retail Brand. Our client is looking to hire a Legal & Compliance Manager, to be based in their Dubai Regional HQ.
About the Role
This role is an excellent opportunity for a Legal & Compliance professional to join a dynamic and growing team in Dubai. This role will provide support on matters related to Compliance, Corporate and Commercial reporting directly to the Managing Director. The Legal & Compliance Manager will be working on legal frameworks to business retail and privacy advisory, draft and negotiate contracts, asses compliance risks, provide solutions for services from regional privacy regulatory perspective, compliance policies, and assist in legal disputes and corporate governance matters.
In addition, the Legal & Compliance Manager will conduct research and oversee local changes in applicable laws and regulations, and communicate and implement relevant legal documents accordingly.
About you
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law and established knowledge of Compliance, Corporate and Commercial processes. Fluency in English and Arabic, both verbal and written is mandatory for this role. Our client has a preference for either civil law or common law qualified candidates with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate should be dynamic, confident and proactive with experience in working for companies with international teams across diverse markets.
