Legal Advisor

The Legal Advisor plays a crucial role in providing legal guidance and support to the trading and commodity trading sectors. This position requires a deep understanding of commercial law, regulatory compliance, and risk management to ensure that the company's operations align with legal standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising on various legal matters, drafting contracts, and representing the company in legal proceedings. With a minimum of two years of experience, the Legal Advisor will contribute to the strategic decision-making process and help mitigate legal risks.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice on a wide range of issues related to trading and commodity transactions.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards.
3. Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
4. Assist in the development of internal policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
5. Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations.
6. Collaborate with other departments to provide legal insights on business strategies.
7. Monitor changes in legislation that may impact the company's operations.
8. Train staff on legal compliance and best practices.
9. Manage relationships with external legal counsel when necessary.
10. Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory authorities.
