Working together and delivering what we say is really important to us.Job DescriptionLearning & FacilitationReview the Learning needs analysis for the hotels prior to the budgetReview with the properties the implementation and facilitation of a Hotel Training Plan and budget that is aligned with the hotel’s goals and strategic planFollow-up on all training activities within the hotelsEnsure hotels are 100% compliant with all Ennismore TrainingsEnsure coordination and delivery of training programs of all internal and external providersChampion company provided online and e-learning tools and portals, ensuring approval processes are in place and executed, as well as registrations and completions are monitored and trackedAssist hotels in developing ongoing departmental training plans and learning activities; maintain active follow-up through on-going coaching, guidance and support of junior-, mid-level- and senior leadersSupport Hotels L&D leaders in the development of Departmental Trainers as requiredRegional wide see where synergies can be made with regards to training programmesParticipate in regional meetings / workshops and ensure such activities are rolled out as required in the hotelsManage the Ennismore PeopleHub Learning Portal and ensure colleague completion of all required trainingSupervise the completion of compliance training i.e., Ennismore Way, Anti-Bribery, Antitrust, GDPR, Fire Safety, School of Change, Sustainability, First Aid…Review how cross training is used in the properties and see if there can be a way to do multi-property training Able to facilitate training to all levels in the hotels and co-facilitate with the property L&D Managers to give them feedback and ongoing developmentBe the champion of the creation of a learning cultureDemonstrate proactivity in measuring both feedback about the learning experience as well as sustainable behavioural change. Is confident using Ennismore PeopleHub to create reports, can analyse and interpret this data to share with key stakeholders. Uses data for decision-makingTalent Development & Performance ManagementAssist with the annual Talent Review process in conjunction with the Hotels EXCOMs and with the associated documentation maintained to the required standardFacilitate the performance management cycle from probation reviews, annual performance reviews, development plans and goal setting as well as on the job training for Department Heads and in turn their teamsEnsure Departments have adequate Departmental trainers, and these are well utilisedFor all supervisory positions have a transparent development programme in place in conjunction with the People & Culture leaderDemonstrate agility in designing and implementing new reports to track Talent DevelopmentSupport the Director, People Development in launching, enrolling tracking regional and global learning programms such as but not limited to: F&B Academy, Rooms Academy, GM Development Program, Global Leadership Programs…Employee Engagement and CommunicationsRepresent the organization as an exemplary ambassador of Ennismore and our brands’ service culturesFinanceAgile in managing budget, billing, collecting & recording financial transactions Act on behalf of the business to work through complex situations and reduce risk, interpreting and implementing company policies and employment legislation as appropriateExercise sound judgment and integrity at all times to ensure confidentiality of protected informationReview with Hotels L&D Managers where the properties financial KPI’s are and see where Learning and Development can add valueQualificationsBachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree from a reputable university majoring in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Psychology or EducationMinimum 7 years of total experience in Learning & Development ideally with strong operations backgroundPrevious experience in a luxury & lifestyle brandAt least 4 years of experience in a cluster-based roleHigh degree of professionalism with strong understanding of hotel operations and business acumenExcellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English languageStrong working knowledge of digital toolsStrong leadership, interpersonal and training skillsExcellent communication and customer contact skillsResults and service oriented with an eye for detailsAbility to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situationsA motivator & self-starterWell-presented and professionally groomed at all timesAble to travel more than 75% of the timePreferable to be an Arabic speakerAdditional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
