Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Consultant to design, implement, and manage sales and leadership development programs for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales training and leadership development, specifically within the consumer electronics or mobile phone distribution industry. You will be responsible for onboarding, product training, and creating tailored learning solutions that support the professional growth of our sales teams and leaders. The role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to measure and optimize the impact of training programs. Familiarity with the UAE market and local training providers is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Training & Development:


  • Design and deliver targeted sales training programs that enhance product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement skills.
  • Develop e-learning modules, workshops, and hands-on training sessions to improve sales teams' performance and product familiarity.
  • Monitor and measure sales training effectiveness to ensure improvements in closing sales, cross-selling, and up-selling.

Leadership Development:


  • Identify potential leaders and design leadership development programs aimed at building strategic thinking, team management, and communication skills.
  • Facilitate leadership workshops, coaching, and mentoring to develop effective sales leaders who can drive performance and lead teams to achieve targets.

Onboarding & Product Training:


  • Create and manage onboarding programs for new hires, with a focus on product knowledge, company values, and sales strategies.
  • Conduct regular product updates and training sessions to ensure sales teams stay current on new mobile phone products, features, and market positioning.

Performance & Skill Assessment:


  • Assess training needs by collaborating with sales leaders and HR to identify skill gaps and performance challenges.
  • Implement assessment tools, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement and tailor development programs accordingly.

Learning Program Customization:


  • Develop customized learning and development plans for different sales roles (e.g., retail, corporate, online sales) to ensure relevant skills are developed.
  • Adapt programs for different regions or markets to meet local sales requirements and cultural nuances.

Sales Enablement Tools & Resources:


  • Create and maintain sales enablement resources, such as playbooks, guides, and job aids to support ongoing sales efforts.
  • Utilize technology to develop interactive tools, mobile learning solutions, and virtual training platforms for continuous development.

Measuring Impact & ROI:


  • Track the effectiveness of L&D initiatives using KPIs like sales performance, leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement.
  • Provide regular feedback and reports to sales leaders and HR on the impact of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum), with relevant certifications in Learning & Development.
  • 5-7 years of experience in L&D, specifically within sales and leadership development.
  • Proven experience in building in-house L&D academies and knowledge of local UAE training providers.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics or mobile phone distribution industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Working Conditions:
