Lead Strategic Accounts Manager - European MNC - Oil & Gas, Energy (Emiratization Initiative) 
About the Role: Our client, a European MNC & global leader in the engineering, power and automation industries, is hiring a Strategic Account Manager to spearhead their growth and strengthen their partnership with their Key Accounts in O&G sector. This pivotal role focuses on expanding our client’s footprint in automation, motion control, and measurement & analysis solutions within their Key Accounts in O&G sector. The role offers a unique opportunity to develop and execute strategic account plans, leveraging our client’s robust portfolio and technological strengths to drive growth, profitability, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Account Development
    • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive account plans tailored to their Key Accounts in O&G sector evolving needs.
    • Design and execute a strategic business plan focused on expanding their Key Accounts in O&G sector partnership, achieving profitable growth, and fostering long-term collaboration.
    • Identify emerging risks (e.g., sustainability, digital transformation, cybersecurity) and align our client’s solutions to address these challenges.

  • Sales Leadership & Execution
    • Define and propose sales targets for Key Accounts, ensuring achievement through structured follow-up and collaboration across our client’s divisions and geographies.
    • Promote our client’s products, solutions, and services with a focus on meeting volume, mix, and profitability goals.
    • Drive a coordinated and value-adding sales approach for Key Accounts, ensuring alignment with our client’s global strategies.

  • Market & Competitive Insights
    • Monitor competitors’ activities and formulate proactive strategies to maintain our client’s competitive edge.
    • Provide market intelligence, including insights on pricing, regulatory compliance, and customer business drivers.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Build strong relationships with their Major Accounts in O&G sector key decision-makers to align our client’s offerings with their strategic objectives.
    • Collaborate internally to drive the adoption of standardized marketing & sales tools, such as Salesforce & account plans.


Qualifications and Skills
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Industry Experience: At least 10 years of account management experience in oil and gas, energy, or utilities industries.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proficient in automation, motion control, and measurement & analysis solutions.
    • Strong knowledge of portfolio management, business strategy, and market intelligence.
    • Familiarity with contract and risk management, pricing strategies, and performance targets.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop go-to-market strategies, navigate customer experience complexities, and interpret long-term industry trends.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent collaboration, communication, and team leadership abilities.
