Your Impact



The OpenText Professional Services team is comprised of over 3,000 consultants who act as trusted advisors, managing long-lasting relationships with more than 100,000 customers worldwide. Professional Services helps organizations achieve a tangible Return on Investment (ROI) from their investment in OpenText ITOM and Digital Operations solutions by ensuring successful implementation and delivery.
As a Lead PS Sales Consultant in this space you will be responsible to support and drive selling complex services offers to these customers. Your primary focus will be to:
Serve as a trusted advisor for ITOM and Digital Operations transformation initiatives. Solution Focus (strong focus on solution expertise on people-process-technology-data focused on customer outcomes) – Leading one or more solution areas (big transformation plays or specific pillars). Pipe Development (lead pipeline business development plan) - Drives a solution business plan to ensure a healthy pipeline and correct application of strategic plays in the geography. Lead customers through deployment roadmaps for ITOM and AIOps platforms, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability. Leads the deal team (Client Manager/SW Sales/xBU Sales) in developing differentiating propositions fulfilling client vision and assisting opportunity qualification and risk assessment. Support the implementation and delivery of ITOM/Digital Operations solutions, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and technical environments.
The Lead PS Sales Consultant works closely with the Account team, including the Account Executive, PS Client Manager and the technical pre-sales, as well as with the Professional Services Practice to develop strategy to digital transformation. Your role will put you at the heart of the client's needs and constraints (budgetary, legal, regulatory, etc.) and will make you one of the client's privileged contacts at OpenText. You will actively participate in the sale of innovative business solutions to meet the increasingly high expectations of our customers and reaching your targets.

What the Role Offers



Strategic Engagement: Collaborate with customers to shape their ITOM/Digital Operations vision and co-develop a roadmap for transformational engagement. Solution Expertise: Lead initiatives in ITOM and Digital Operations transformation, with focus on IT Operations Monitoring/AIOps and other areas such as IT Service Management, Analytics & AI, and Application Development Management. Business Value Realization: Act as the primary interface between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating solutions into measurable business results. Process Optimization: Guide customers in integrating ITOM solutions with incident, change, and configuration management processes. Transition Management: Ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery teams while identifying opportunities for expansion and upselling. Implementation Delivery Support: When needed, work with the delivery team to support the deployment of ITOM/Digital Operations solutions, from design through execution, ensuring successful delivery and outcomes.

What You Need to Succeed



Experience: 12+ years in IT management and Digital Transformation for multinational corporations in IT Consulting and Software Professional Services with a focus on ITOM/Digital Operations. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of OpenText ITOM tools or other competitive tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Splunk ITSI, BMC, Dynatrace or other AIOps platforms) and implementation methodologies. Project Execution: Proven track record of delivering ITOM/Digital Operations solutions, with expertise in deployment, integration, and operationalization. Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts in English and Arabic, effectively bridging business and technology teams. Leadership Skills: Capable of managing cross-functional teams, driving strategic discussions, and ensuring customer success. Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with IT4IT, ITIL, and other IT architecture standards. Additional Skills: Proficiency in structured and unstructured data management, analytics, enterprise search engines, and Application Development Management (ADM and IDOL knowledge is a plus). Account Management: Proven capabilities in Account management and collaboration with sales team to develop pipeline both in reactive and proactive ways.
