Lead Product Owner - Retail Banking (B2C)

Our client, one of the leading digital banks in the region, is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Product Owner for Retail Banking. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of digital banking products, a customer-first approach, and a strong history of successful product ownership in the financial services industry. As a Senior Product Owner - Retail Banking, successful candidate will play a central role in shaping how customers manage their finances, covering a wide range of services such as current and savings accounts, virtual wallets, multi-currency options, spend management, money transfers, card payments, and more. 

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and objectives for Retail Banking (covering CASA, Cards, and Payments), ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer needs.
• Lead the product discovery process, prioritize features, and build roadmaps to achieve product goals successfully.
• Collaborate with teams handling current and savings accounts, cards (debit and credit), and payments (both local and international) to create and implement a unified roadmap. This will involve developing consumer-facing features and building a strong platform to support them.
• Partner with other product teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions with other areas of the business, such as SME, retail, investments, and credit.

• Deep understanding of the payments industry and core banking, especially as it transitions from traditional products to modern, customer-centric solutions.
  
• Proven experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Finance/Treasury, Remittance, Compliance, and Engineering to identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities effectively.
  
• Expertise in collaborating with data engineers and scientists to create financial data products and insights (e.g., expense management tools).
  
• Hands-on, action-oriented mindset, with a track record of leading projects from start to finish, not afraid to dive into the details when necessary.
  
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability — you take full responsibility for building, owning, and managing your product initiatives.
