KBR is looking for Lead Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) Engineer for a PMC project to be based in– Abu Dhabi UAE

JOB PURPOSE: 

Provide technical expertise on all engineering subject matters about Instrument/ Control System Engineering and design of green field LNG plant. Coordinate and interface with other Technical Disciplines and contractors/ consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Instruments & Control engineering design execution and integrity. 

Perform troubleshooting of process control, optimization, and plant information problems and maintain high availability of the systems.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:   

Minimum Qualification  

• Bachelor’s degree in Control System/Instrumentation or equivalent.   

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills  

• 12 years of experience in Control/Automation/Instrumentation related to LNG, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical industry out of which at least 5 years in a control system design/engineering experience with EPC organisation.   
• 2 years in similar position

• Conversant with material specifications, standards and certifications  
• Good knowledge of Control and Safety Systems, Automation network design and cyber security  
• Good organizing ability  
• Strong Coordination and negotiation skills
• Problem-solving skills.  

• Good Team building skills.  
• Good interpersonal and influencing ability.  
• Good presentation and communication skills.  
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English  

Professional Certifications   

• Any relevant certificate would be an advantage but not mandatory.  
• Understanding and working knowledge of Functional Safety Management and the application of IEC 61508 & IEC 61511, ISA 99  for cyber security.
