LEAD HVAC ENGINEER (EPC)

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead HVAC Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience, including working on ADNOC projects during the Engineering Phase of oil and gas developments. This is an immediate requirement, and the candidate must be available to start without delay.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development of HVAC system designs for oil and gas facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and international codes.
• Perform detailed calculations for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including load analyses and equipment sizing.
• Prepare and review technical documents such as P&IDs, schematics, and layout drawings.
• Manage and oversee all HVAC engineering activities during the Engineering Phase, including FEED and Detailed Engineering.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, and Civil) to ensure HVAC integration within the project scope.
• Ensure all HVAC designs adhere to ADNOC standards and guidelines, as well as international codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO, SMACNA).
• Address HSE considerations, particularly for hazardous areas and classified zones.
• Prepare technical requisitions, evaluate vendor bids, and review vendor documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Liaise with equipment manufacturers and suppliers for technical clarifications and equipment selection.
• Conduct thorough reviews of engineering deliverables, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, and other project assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases as needed.
• Address site queries, resolve issues, and implement necessary modifications to HVAC designs.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8-12 years of experience as an HVAC Engineer, with significant exposure to oil and gas projects and ADNOC standards.
• Proven track record in the Engineering Phase (FEED and Detailed Engineering) of oil and gas projects.
• Proficient in HVAC system design, load calculations, equipment selection, and relevant software tools (e.g., HAP, AutoCAD, Revit).
• In-depth understanding of international HVAC codes and standards, including ADNOC specifications.
• Must be immediately available to join the team.
• Based in Dubai or willing to relocate on short notice.
