DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS Assume sole responsibility for assigned Piping engineering work scopes. Carry out Piping discipline work within a project team, supporting the project team for field development of oil and gas production facilities and renewable energies projects. Plan, budget, organize and control a segment of the Piping engineering deliverables for the project. Prepare Piping deliverables for all project phases of oil and gas and renewable industries. Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule. Provide direction and guidance on all Piping engineering technical queries raised by either internal or external parties. Liaise with the Client’s Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion. Promote safe behaviour at all times and demonstrate “Safety Leadership”. Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline. Co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up. Assist in the coordination of all activities related to Piping engineering design. Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required. Record the lessons learned from previous contracts in order to implement corrections in future contracts. Plan and maintain manpower and other resources required for smooth operation of the Piping team for project and tender execution. Estimate man-hours and materials for delegated aspects of work. Conduct Engineering audits, risk assessment and training as required. Prepare and reviewing engineering studies, design drawings and documents. Plan, organize and supervise the activities assigned to Piping discipline subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area / project / tender of Piping engineering activity is carried out in accordance with department and project work instructions, procedures, process manual and project specific requirements, an efficient and procedurally compliant manner. Perform other related duties or assignments as directed on order to contribute to the continuous operations of the department. Support EPC engineering department and Piping Discipline initiatives. Travel short term or long term as per project requirements within or outside UAE adhere to DDWD travel or relocation policy as applicable. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in in design office or EPC for / FPSO/ FSO/FPU/MOPU/Offshore Sub-Stations. Experience with performing FEED design, FEED Verification & Detail Engineering for Piping Discipline. Delivered at least one 30,000MT project in design stage.
