Responsible to maintain complexElectrical installations achieving the required/assigned targets of the workwithin the designated area of operations with minimum downtime meeting completesatisfaction of Clients & end users.
§Carry out preventive & corrective maintenanceworks of larger electrical installations inclusive of Power DistributionNetwork and accessories, Containment systems, Transformers, LV panels, MCCpanels, Air Circuit Breakers, Oil Circuit Breakers, Bus-couplers, Bus-bar assemblies,Capacitor Banks, ATS Panels, Power Generators, UPS, Emergency Central BatterySystems, Harmonic Filters, Auto transformers, VFDs, Starter Panels, BuildingEarthling Network etc.
§Troubleshoot system failures onall of the above equipment/systems/accessories with minimum downtime
§Carry out cable fault detections, cable jointingworks and insulation resistance tests as required
§Installation of Distribution Boards, lightfittings, socket outlets, containment systems and testing the installedfittings/systems when required
§Attend 24/7 standby duty as per duty roster
§Carry out land and marine based work within theboundaries of the UAE
§Assist in condition surveys / snagging works ofElectrical systems when required
§Carry out any other appropriate works as assignedtime to time
§Comply with companies EHS & Q regulations
Education/Qualifications
§Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard) is a must and Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th Standard) is desirable.
§6 months Vocational Education in the Relevant Trade OR 1 year/ 2 years ITI is a must.
Skills/ Competencies/ Experience
§6 months Vocational Education – 7 - 10 years relevant experience.
§1 year ITI – 5 – 7 years relevant experience.
§2 years ITI – 3 – 5 years relevant experience.
§Preferably possessing experience in the Electrical Engineering industry as a service technician handling lager capacity electrical installations and maintenance.
§Result orientation, problem solving and people management skills.
§Interpersonal Skills, Planning & Organizing skills and Planning & Organizing skills.
Competent communication skills in English (Oral and Written) and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage
