LEAD CHILLER TECHNICIAN - ( 2400019W )
Description
To maintain complex Central Air conditioning systems achieving the required/assigned targets of the work within the designated area of operations with minimum downtime meeting complete satisfaction of Clients & end users.
Carry out preventive & corrective maintenance works of larger capacity central HVAC Systems and associated controls including all types of Ciller’s (Centrifugal, Screw, Reciprocating) & Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, CHW pumps, stair pressurisation units, smoke extract systems. Troubleshoot system failures on all of the above equipment / systems with minimum downtime Carry out brazing & welding works as required by the refrigeration industry Carry out compressor overhauling works of Screw & Reciprocating types & assist in overhauling Centrifugal Compressors as required Attend 24/7 standby duty as per duty roster Carry out land and marine based work within the boundaries of the UAE Assist in condition surveys / snagging works of lager capacity central AC systems when required Carry out any other appropriate works as assigned time to time Comply with companies EHS & Q regulations and Montréal protocol related to CFC refrigerants
Qualifications
Education/Qualifications
• Secondary School Certificate with 2 year relevant trade certification (ITI) OR 1 year relevant trade certification (ITI) or equivalent from a recognized institute.
• Should have a sound knowledge of pipefitting and expertise of brazing techniques as applicable to the Ref & AC industry, electrical and electronic fault diagnosis as applicable to the Ref & AC industry
• Good communication Skills in English and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
• Must have Good computer Skills and telephone etiquettes.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of BMS is an added qualification
• Having a valid UAE driving license is an added qualification.
Experience
2 year trade certification (ITI) – 5 years of experience in the relevant trade. 1 year trade certification (ITI) – 7-8 years of experience in the relevant trade. Preferably having experience in the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning industry as a service technician handling lager capacity centralized HVAC systems involving Centrifugal, Screw & Reciprocating Ciller’s
