2. JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for tracking pace of Agile Transformation, delivery cadence and feedback loop through delivery assurance. Measuring and improving the outcomes and stability of value streams that are being setup . This entails identifying and implementing best-in-class practices, tools and frameworks to customize measuring performance of Transformation and adoption of Agile practices across Product value streams at FAB. Additionally, onboarding cutting edge Agile productivity and collaboration tools, adapting them for use at FAB, training key stakeholders in the usage, periodic reporting to senior management and ramp up of the measurement methodology.
Also responsible for Agile Transformation team to fit the target GT operating model and organization structure for niche talent and new-world skills needed to mobilize product value streams.
This role is also expected to establish and propagate the Agile Transformation chapter and disciplines related to continuous improvements, standardized tooling, data-based decisions.
Generic Accountability
To lead delivery assurance area as part of the Transformation team to deliver value to Group Technology Domains through guidance, collaboration and support.
Supports the Transformation Office in reporting of roadmap deliverables, actions and impediments
Engage with Group Technology leaders & head and wider Bank FAB stakeholders to educate and propagate Agile ways of working, tooling and measurements
Support the Tech Transformation program in a boundaryless manner including leading key initiatives to scale Agile practices, target Operating model, establish chapters and communities
Leverage best practices and scaling frameworks to customize target state Group Technology structure purpose-fit for FAB including roles & responsibilities of value streams, chapters and platform teams
Co-create an Agile transformation roadmap with clear milestones and timeline, and track progress against it, periodically reporting progress to all key stakeholders.
Engage business, technology, and supporting functions leadership and other relevant stakeholders to streamline transformation efforts for holistic Agile adoption across FAB.
Collaborate within the Agile Chapter to enhance FAB agile framework recommendations by incorporating outcomes, feedback, and learnings
Collaborate with Design Office to create, update, and maintenance of Agile Training content related to standardized tooling and guidelines
Creating, tracking against a set of metrics and publishing outcomes to showcase pace of Transformation and adoption of Agile ways of working across Bank FAB

Agile Governance & Delivery Assurance
o Establish measures to track pace of Transformation adoption and delivery through a robust process, agreed framework and recommended tools
o Track Transformation delivery cadence and establish feedback loop through delivery assurance, assessments and regular reporting to Group Tech Execs
o Measurement of the Transformation underway
o Plan and execute Agile tools (Jira align, Jira standardization and related productivity tools usage and guidelines)
o Define and support roll out of standard Agile KPI’s and OKR’s across Group Technology at all levels. Automate reporting via launch of appropriate tools
o Create, maintain and enchance Agile maturity framework for FAB and ensure regular assessments of all operational Service delivery teams based on the framework
o Lead delivery assurance on high priority & critical initiatives via periodic reporting to senior management within GT and beyond
o Design, publish and automate / refine the measurement methodology, tools and processes. Produce dashboards and reporting as required for GT and Bank FAB forums
o Co-create Agile artifacts and process maps, guidelines and policies. Work closely with Techology Risk & Governance teams to institutionalize policy changes
o Plan for an internal audit health checks Agile transformation team for Service Delivery Teams. Roll-out with Agile Design and Product Enablement offices
Agile Delivery Assurance roll-out & related L&D pathways
o Collaborate with various reporting functions within Group Tech to integrate / host shared objectives on same platform or via data sharing. Establish one-stop-shop for all Agile KPIs
o Co-create initial set of Agile KPIs with Design Office and establish baseline
o Formulate skill development programmes for adoption of Agile tools and standards
o Automation tooling & collaboration tools - Define standard automation tooling with Domains and push use of & integration amongst collaboration tools
o Collaborate with Product Enablement and Design Office to ensure the measurement frameworks are updated per changes in Op Model
o Collaborate with relevant Chapters to ensure KPIs are included and tracked (e.g. DevOps standards to be defined with Domains and cover Release & Service Mgmt)
o Track success of skill development programmes via appropriate learning and development metrics.
Agile Culture and Community
o Establish and support Transformation Guild of Chapters for continuous improvemeents (Maturity assessments)
o Support in the creation of Agile tooling related communities of practice. Work with FABRIC on community engagement
o Host Clinics, Podcasts and AMA sessions to demystify Agile KPIs and tools
o Plan and conduct Agile learning and knowledge exchange events.
Support in creating content and pusblishing Agile adoption success stories in various internal and external forums to showcase delivery outcomes.
Functions within the framework and boundaries of Group policies as well as overall organisational and governance frameworks.
Authorised to take decisions as per the approved authorisation matrix.
8. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualification
Masters (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology or related discipline.
Agile certification is necessary – preferably advanced (CSP, CSC, PSM-II, SPC, CAL 1-2, etc.) or beginner (CSM, PSM-1, Scaled Agilist, etc).
Minimum Experience
• 10+ years’ relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 7+ years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the Governance and Change / Transformation function.
• Has 5+ years experience in Enterprise-wide Change & digital Transformation and Agile Ways of Working. Has substantial experience and expertise in agile delivery techniques and methodologies to ensure continuous improvement and delivery of services
• Experience as a Program Lead / Director handling Transformation programs, ideally with Project Management qualification in Agile / PMO.
• Hands-on experience in devising strategy for roll-out of multiple Agile frameworks (team and enterprise level).
• Extensive experience in leading and executing cross departmental projects with senior stakeholders.
• Effective leadership and strong written, oral and presentation skills.
