About the Role
As the Landscape Design Director, you will take a strategic leadership role in driving the creative and technical vision of high-profile landscape architecture projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver world-class designs, ensuring the highest standards of quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the design and delivery of large-scale landscape architecture projects, from concept through to completion.
Develop and implement creative design strategies that align with client objectives and project vision.
Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to define project goals and ensure alignment throughout the process.
Lead and mentor a team of landscape architects and designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
Provide technical oversight, ensuring compliance with local regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices.
Contribute to business development efforts, including preparing proposals, winning new work, and expanding client relationships.
Represent the company at industry events and act as a thought leader in landscape architecture.
About You
You are a visionary design professional with a proven track record of delivering landmark landscape projects. Your passion for innovation and sustainability, combined with strong leadership skills, makes you an ideal candidate to lead and inspire a talented team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred.
Chartered membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or equivalent.
15+ years of experience in landscape architecture, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering high-profile projects across hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors.
Strong understanding of sustainability principles and local environmental regulations in the Middle East.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, with knowledge of BIM tools an advantage.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and client management skills.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
