Role Overview: Seeking an L1 NOC Application Engineer to join our IT operations team. The
ideal candidate should have basic database knowledge, production environment
application experience, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities include monitoring applications, responding to alerts,
troubleshooting issues, and ensuring application stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring
and Incident Detection: Monitor using Dynatrace, respond to alerts,
escalate issues as needed.
Initial
Troubleshooting: Address application/system issues, document incidents and
resolutions.
Incident
Management: Prioritize incidents, communicate with stakeholders, ensure
timely resolution.
Application
and System Maintenance: Perform maintenance tasks, health checks on
applications and servers.
Documentation
and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation and generate performance
reports.
Collaboration
and Communication: Work with other IT teams to resolve issues and improve
reliability.
Shift
Work and On-Call Support: Participate in 24/7 shifts and on-call rotations.
Required
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years in large industry monitoring databases and applications.
Technical
Skills: Application concepts, triaging issues, identifying RCA, reporting
to owner.
Monitoring
Tools: Experience with Dynatrace and ServiceNow.
Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills for basic troubleshooting.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Certifications: Dynatrace Associate Certification.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience in a 24/7 operations environment,
particularly in a NOC role.
Familiarity with ITIL processes.
Good understanding of digital and cybersecurity
service management.
