Kitchen Equipment Fabricator

The Kitchen Equipment Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing custom kitchen equipment such as stainless steel counter tops, cabinets, sinks, and exhaust systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, precision, and adherence to quality standards to meet customer specifications.

• Fabricate stainless steel and metal kitchen equipment based on blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications.
  
• Measure, cut, weld, bend, and polish materials to form kitchen equipment like cabinets, sinks, work tables, and ventilation systems.
  
• Operate various fabrication tools and machinery such as welders (TIG, MIG), grinders, bending machines, and shearing machines.
  
• Inspect materials and ensure accurate alignment during assembly and fabrication.
  
• Assist in on-site installation and fitting of fabricated kitchen equipment in commercial kitchens and food production units.
  
• Ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.
  
• Conduct quality checks on finished equipment to ensure high standards of workmanship and accuracy.
  
• Identify and resolve defects or inconsistencies.
  
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other team members to clarify project requirements and timelines.
  
• Provide updates on work progress and report any delays or challenges.
  
• Follow workplace safety guidelines and ensure the safe operation of tools and equipment.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in metal fabrication or welding is preferred.
  
• Minimum 4 years of experience in stainless steel fabrication, specifically for kitchen equipment.
  
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  

• Expertise in welding techniques (TIG, MIG) and sheet metal fabrication.
  
• Strong knowledge of operating fabrication tools such as grinders, shears, and bending machines.
  
• Ability to measure and cut materials with high precision.
  
• Familiarity with safety standards in fabrication and installation.
  
• Good physical stamina to handle fabrication tasks and installations.
  
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  
• Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
