The Key Account Manager position is a pivotal role within the hospitality and food service industry, particularly for those fluent in French. This role focuses on managing and nurturing relationships with key clients to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of sales acumen, customer service expertise, and a deep understanding of the hospitality sector. The Key Account Manager will work closely with various departments to align client needs with company offerings, ensuring a seamless experience for clients while maximizing revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the hospitality and food service sectors.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base through strategic networking and outreach.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor services and solutions that meet client needs effectively.
  4. Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback.
  5. Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with their expectations.
  6. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  7. Provide training and support to clients on new products and services offered by the company.
  8. Track and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.
  9. Participate in industry events and trade shows to represent the company and network with potential clients.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all client interactions.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Fluency in French and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Proven experience in account management or sales within the hospitality or food service industry.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  4. Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and market opportunities.
  7. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  9. Adaptability to changing market conditions and client requirements.
  10. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
