Day- to-day operations:
Assist to create work breakdown structures.
Assist to analyse planning data to achieve time based and resource limited based target scheduling.
To input computer data for planning activities including all modifications to the original plan.
To maintain project data and prepare progress reports.
To set up progress monitoring and forecasting system.
To monitor the progress achieved and man-hours’ consumed and alert if any potential overshoot of the target.
To ensure provision of adequate planning data for and from subcontractors.
To produce soft and hardcopy output of programs in numeric / graphic form including: reports, bar charts, histograms, network and ‘S’ curve, as instructed. Information to be available at all planning levels from details to management / presentation.
Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to the supervisor.
Perform daily inspections at site to ensure work progress is updated properly.
Technical competencies:
Diploma or Graduate in engineering or any equivalent discipline.
Off shore / Oil & Gas
2 years of experience in the Oil and Gas or ship building industry.
Proficient use of MS Project and MS Excel
Project Planning Management Skills.
Knowledge and Experience in ship repair and new building yard.
Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
