Junior/Graduate AI Specialist

This role is ideal for someone with a strong academic background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and some practical experience, who is eager to apply their skills to real-world challenges in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze day-to-day operations across departments to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement AI-driven solutions to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Design, train, and deploy machine learning models to solve specific business problems.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI solutions, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies and propose innovative applications within the company.
• Document processes, methodologies, and outcomes to ensure knowledge sharing and scalability.
• Assist in the integration of AI tools and systems into existing workflows.
  

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Basic demonstrable experience in AI, machine learning, or data analysis (e.g., internships, academic projects, or personal initiatives).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and familiarity with AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Understanding of data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data tools is a plus.
