About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Amara Lounge in Jumeirah Living Marina Gate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
To provide knowledgeable, friendly, professional and efficient F&B Service and to all guests ensuring maximum guest satisfaction in a manner consistent with Jumeirah standards. Meet all reasonable needs and requests of customers within acceptable enterprise time frames. Prepare Outlet for service utilizing opening checklist and as instructed through briefings. Respect sequence of service during service periods and provides constant hands-on support.
Oversee Team and mentor, coach, guide and motivate them to perform their Job effectively. The objective is to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of Jumeirah. Team leaders motivate and inspire their team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of team members, and demonstrates flexibility.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Essential
• High School Diploma
Desired
• Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or any other relevant field
Competency
• Basic Computer Knowledge
• Technical know-how where applicable (Intermediate)
• Exposure of handling telephone enquiries
• Exposure of handling Micros Cashiering system
• Proficient in English
• Excellent listening skills and customer orientation.
