Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced
Jack-Up Engineer with expertise in
SSAs (Site-Specific Assessments) and rig move-related engineering. The role requires advanced knowledge of naval architecture, structural engineering, and offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
site-specific assessments (SSAs), location approvals, and rig move MWS evaluations. Conduct
structural analysis and naval architecture reviews for offshore assets. Lead engineering projects, including the
development of methodologies and problem-solving for technical challenges. Write
comprehensive technical reports and client deliverables. Provide
project management support, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Engage with clients, supporting business development and proposal preparation. Train and mentor junior engineers in jack-up engineering best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
MEng/MSc in Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in jack-up rig engineering, offshore structures, and marine warranty surveying. Proficiency in software such as
Orcaflex, MOSES, SESAM, GHS, and structural analysis tools.
Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is preferred. Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
