Head of Boys' Provision
ASAP 2024
Location: Dubai, UAE
An education leader is required to head the boys provision for students in grades 5 - 12 at this school in Dubai. Bilingual Arabic/English candidates are preferred however English only speaking candidates will be considered if you have previously held a senior leadership post in the UAE.
Job Detail:
You will be responsible for leading, developing, innovating and adapting all aspects of the provision in the boys section of this school. You will be tasked with ensuring high levels of student engagement and positive attitudes towards learning leading to better than expected academic progress and to developing lifelong learning skills. You will oversee all curriculum development in this area.
Requirements:
1. Minimum Bachelors degree in Education
2. Masters degree in educational leadership or a related field is highly desirable
3. Proven senior leadership experience - preferably in Boys education
4. Ideally you will be fluent in both Arabic and English however English only speaking candidates will be considered if you have held a leadership role in the UAE previously
5. 5 years experience working in a school in the UAE (ideally with 2 years in leadership with Emirati students)
6. Strong understanding of Curriculum development and educational best practices
7. Experience of working with Emirati students and families
Salary and Benefits:
1. Up to 22,000 AED depending on experience and qualifications (Tax free)
